West African Drumming (Level 2) Classes

Ages: 11+
Schedule: Wednesdays, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm and  Saturdays 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Overview:

An intermediate/advanced drumming workshop for students who have mastered the basics and wish to tackle complex rhythms, solos, and leadership within the ensemble.

• Polyrhythms and ensemble coordination

• Solo improvisation techniques

• Drum‐circle leadership and arrangement

Pricing:

• Drum Class Regular: $200/month ($25/class)

• Registration Fee: $25 (includes Afiwi T-shirt)

• End of Year showcase package: $40.00 ( includes insurance and video of link of showcase)​

• Multi-Class Discount: 5% discount when enrolled in more than one dance  class
