Jr. West African Dance Classes Programs

Ages: 6 - 10
Schedule: Sundays, 12:20 pm – 1:20 pm

Overview:

Explore traditional West African dance vocabulary—focusing on the cultural roots of moves from Ghana, Senegal, and beyond. Builds stamina, rhythm, and cultural literacy.

• Foundational West African steps and formations

• Call-and-response choreography

• Cultural context and storytelling through movement

Program Fees:

• Registration Fee: $25 (includes Afiwi T-shirt)

• Monthly Program Fee: $73/month ($18.25/class)

• End of Year showcase package: $40.00 ( includes insurance and video of link of showcase)​

• Multi-Class Discount: 5% discount when enrolled in more than one dance  class
