About the event
Groovy campers will feel empowered and inspired as they learn about African-Caribbean culture and movement through the performing arts. Trained Afiwi Groove School instructors will introduce campers to the rhythms of the African-Caribbean diaspora and Latin America through dance, song, poetry, and visual arts. Projects will be highlighted in a showcase on the final day of camp. No dance experience required. Ages: 5-7yrs
